Lise Watier Ombre Soufflé Suprême, Portfolio Professional Correctors and Hydra Kiss Colour Balm Review

For those of you who don’t know, Lise Watier is a Canadian cosmetic brand founded in 1972. I am fairly new to this brand. The first thing I tried was an eyeshadow palette a few months ago and ever since then I have been hooked! I was lucky enough to be sent a few of their top selling items to try out recently, so I put together a makeup look using all three of them. But first, an individual review of each : )

Ombre Soufflé Suprême in Wonderland

This eyeshadow is unlike anything else I’ve tried. Soufflé is the perfect name for this shadow, it’s fluffy and almost spongy. Wonderland is a beautiful beige metallic shade that almost looks like foiled gold. So pretty! A little goes a long way with this shadow, a bit on the end of my finger is all I needed to cover my eyelid. You can see in the photo above that the product is quite soft. It did crease after about 4 hours (without a primer)  but with a primer this would probably last a full 8 hours.

Portfolio Professional Correctors

This little guy is Canada’s #1 corrector! I’ve wanted to try one of these concealer “wheels” for so long! I have seen them at the Drugstore so many times and was intrigued by all the different shades. What was the purple for? What was the green for? So many questions!

This paraben-free formula is sooo creamy and contains vitamin E for hydration which is great when it comes to under eye concealers. Check out the video below for a tutorial on how to apply each shade of corrector!

Hydra Kiss Colour Balm in Coral Paradise

More lippies!!! This high gloss retractable lip gloss is one of my new favourites. It’s similar to the Revlon Colorburst Lip Balms but I think I might actually like this one better because it doesn’t have any shimmer. It’s a solid lacquer that feels really hydrating but also has decent staying power. Coral Paradise is a peachy coral, which I would not normally go for but I like it!

I used the Portfolio Professional Corrector under my eyes, as a spot concealer as well as a highlighter. I swept the Ombre Soufflé Suprême across my entire eyelid, and finished the look with the Hydra Kiss Colour Balm on my lips. I think this look is shimmery and perfect for summer, and by adding liner on the bottom lash line and a darker shadow in the eye crease this would be great for evening as well.

Here’s my final look using these three Lise Watier products:

In Canada you can find Lise Watier at your local Shoppers Drugmart and on their website. In the US you can purchase products on their US website.

Have you ever tried this brand before? If so, what’s your favourite item? Let me know in the comments : )

* This post contains products that were sent to me for consideration. As always, my reviews and opinions are my own.

Beautiful! These products sound pretty amazing. I believe the only item from Lise Watier I’ve tried is the souffle, but mine was nothing like yours. It was patchy and uncomfortable, which was very unfortunate!

You look gorgeous as always! I really like the look of that concealer “wheel” haha. Also your short hair makes me want to cut my hair again…hmmm

  3. Sarah Norquay says

Omg another of my fav brands and it just so happens that not only do I have these products, I use them daily.

As a cosmetician for 5yrs the portfolio was my star product. There was truly no dark eyes that this litter wonder couldnt brighten up.

One of the reasons I LOVE this brand the products are canadian which is awesome but they also last forever! I bought a few of the souffles when I left work over a year ago and I still have them. My favs being sunrise peach and vert enchante!

Plus Lisr Watier herself is still VERY active in her company and so passionate about.

Oh Sarah, you have sooo much knowledge. You’ve had the opportunity to try out so many different brands so the fact that you love this one says a lot! I will be trying more things from LW now for sure!
