Firmoo Sunglasses Review + FREE Frames

firmoo glasses #FS1008 review

Hi everyone!

Today I am reviewing a pair of sunglasses from Firmoo.com. This online store is sort of similar to Clearly Contacts but they only carry glasses and exclusively sell their own brand. They have decently priced frames - the most expensive pair of women’s glasses I could find were $66!

When they reached out to me and asked if I’d like to review a pair of glasses I was so excited. I’ve been wearing glasses since middle school! It actually took me a few minutes to remember that I no longer have a prescription. 3 months ago I had laser eye surgery and now have 20/20 vision (I like to tell people I have laser eyes…PEW PEW PEW!) So I asked if I could review a pair of sunglasses instead and they said yes!

I always go for big, oversized sunglasses so I thought this was an opportunity to try something new. After spending way too much time browsing the website I settled on this pair of sunglasses. I went for a smaller more rounded solid black frame. Here’s what the website says about this style:

“This retro-styled round sunglasses incorporate bold acetate front and keyhole bridge. The wire metal temples reduce weight and the plastic-covered tips afford extra comfort for long-time wearing. The sharp contrast of the metal and plastic makes the frame very attractive but also respected” – Firmoo

They came in a hard case with a fabric pouch as well. The case was a bit cheap (the lining was coming off when it arrived) but the sunglasses themselves are really nice. I usually go for H&M sunglasses because they are affordable and I can pick up a new pair every summer. The Firmoo sunglasses are sturdy considering the arms are a thin piece of metal. They sit nicely on the bridge of my nose and don’t cause me to have those sunglass dents on either side when I take them off : )

Here’s looking at you kid!

Pros:

  • Cute and affordable frames
  • Decent quality – it’s been two weeks and no scratches or dents
  • Lots of customer reviews and photos

Cons:

  • While they have a good selection of prescription glasses, they don’t have a very large selection of sunglasses

*Now for the fun stuff! First time customers can take advantage of Firmoo’s First Pair Free Program. You can get your first pair of frames for free by clicking HERE (you still need to pay for the lenses and shipping) and using the code FREEFIRMOO. Happy shopping!

So I just reached out to them and they said it’s only the frames that are free (not the lenses), and it’s only the frames on that page specifically. Not such a great deal after all :/
