Julep July is back and it’s swatching time!
Today is my second Julep shade called Jeanne, which is a beautiful jet-set blue crème. I love Julep crème polish! I received this in my May Julep box and was excited to try it because I have no other shade like this one. The closest colour is Mint Candy Apple from Essie and that shade is a lot more green.
Like most creamy pastels this one is a little thin so it required 3 coats for full opacity (but you could totally get away with 2 coats). It does tend to streak so it requires a top coat to get that smooth finish. I didn’t use one in theses photos so you could see what I mean. It’s ok, but it highlights some of the imperfections and lines in my nails, which is no bueno.
This is such a pretty shade for spring and summer, it reminds of a Robins Egg blue only brighter! Have you tried Jeanne?
