I wasn’t able to watch the SAG awards on Saturday night, but I did make sure to check out all the red carpet looks the next day. There were so many beautiful looks it was hard to choose the front-runners. But these ladies really took the glam factor up a notch, and for that reason they are my top picks for best dressed!

Lupita Nyong’o

My favourite look of the night! Lupita wore a turquoise Gucci dress with floral straps and gold detailing. I love everything about this look. The detailing on the dress is intricate and gorgeous, and her eyeshadow adds a pop of colour without overwhelming the look. The dress flatters her silhouette perfectly. 10/10!

Hannah Simone

A Canadian on the red carpet! Hannah was a vision in white in this Marchesa gown. Her soft makeup look was created using all Pixi by Petra products from Target. A tousled up-do and minimal jewellery let the beautiful neck detailing of the dress take center stag!

Morena Baccarin

I love Morena on homeland, and I loved her red carpet look too! Her post-baby body looked stunning in a cobalt blue Monique Lhuillier gown. The draping was so flattering and the colour looked lovely against her skin tone. Her makeup was nicely balanced with a nude lip and bold eye, and a bangle and diamond earrings added some sparkle. The retro hair-do was the perfect complement to this romantic dress.
